Indivisible St. Peter/Greater Mankato is a non-partisan group dedicated to positive, progressive action to create a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive world. We seek to bring people together and inform, inspire, and empower members to take action. We are inspired by The Indivisible Guide, a document written and distributed by former congressional staffers in January 2017. The Guide provided advice on organizing effectively to resist radical right wing attacks on marginalized groups, US civil liberties, the environment, and the norms and institutions of our democracy.
We believe that...
LGBT rights are human rights
Protecting our planet is important
Everyone deserves healthcare
All religions are valid
Diversity makes communities better
Indivisible is a nationwide movement of millions of people working to stop the rise of authoritarianism in the US and to demand a real democracy. The vision of Indivisible is a democracy that delivers for everyone—not just the wealthy or well-connected. We are committed to nonviolent action, multiracial democracy, and a government that is accountable to the people it serves.
There are over 2,500 Indivisible groups across the country
The national organization provides tools, training, research, and strategic coordination so people can take effective action—whether that means protecting free and fair elections, stopping harmful legislation, or demanding bold solutions to the challenges we face.
